Local shopping.
Cariboo connections.
ShopItLocal is an upcoming online marketplace for independent shops, makers and small businesses in the Cariboo, British Columbia.
We’re gathering interest in Quesnel, Williams Lake, 100 Mile House, Wells and surrounding communities. The plan is to help you discover local products, buy online and choose store pickup or delivery where available.
Where would you like to shop local?
What will online local shopping look like?
You’ll be able to browse participating stores and their products in one place, see photos and prices, and order through ShopItLocal. Planned categories include home and gifts, clothing and accessories, pantry items, everyday essentials and handmade goods.
Store pickup will let you collect from a participating business. Local delivery is also planned, with availability shown before you order. We are not promising delivery between every Cariboo community.
For Cariboo stores and makers
ShopItLocal is intended to help independent businesses become easier to find online. The proposed offering includes a store profile, product catalogue, online ordering and payments, and a portal for managing products and orders. Businesses would maintain their own prices and inventory.
We’re researching setup help, ongoing fees and practical fulfilment needs with business owners before finalising the service.
